Don’t Skimp the Small Things

With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s easy to forget about the little things. When Christmas time rolls around, I usually have all of my presents ready to go but forget a certain detail, like the wrapping paper or the envelopes. I’m taking time now to remind all of you readers not to forget about (or sweat!) the small stuff this year.

To think of the long list of items I’ve overlooked (and maybe you have, too)—stocking stuffers, wrapping paper and bows; cards, envelopes, and customized stationery—all things that bring out the intimacy of the season. Plus, a lot can be lost in the long process of shopping for home decor, like festive doormats, new Christmas tree ornaments, candle snuffers and candle holders. Oh, and a partridge in a pear tree!

Keep a Healthy Weight During The Holidays

I love the holidays. It’s a time of being together, singing carols, and hanging out around the fire with your loved ones. It’s also about eating calorie-dense Christmas cookies, turkey stuffing, and homemade pies. Yes, Christmas is a blast, but it’s also a time of packing on those extra pounds.

That’s why, before the holidays hit, I like to eat healthy and lose a few pounds. When you have something to look forward to, like gingerbread cookies, spiced cider, and sweet yams, it’s easier to watch what you eat before the big day (or days!).

Until December 25, Focus 28 Diet has a fantastic deal: the 28 Days of Christmas special. It promotes a healthy—and affordable—approach to successful weight loss. Every day, Focus 28 Diet provides exclusive offers focusing on

Decorating for the Holidays

The best part about the holidays is the decorations. Adorning the house with scented candles and little white lights, covering the tree with tinsel while listening to Christmas carols—what could be better? (Of course, spiked eggnog and Christmas cookies don’t hurt!) It’s a time when the family gathers to be grateful, festive and, most of all, together. At my house, we always put on the Nutcracker soundtrack, while Dad’s in the kitchen making fudge, and the snow falls onto the trees outside. I will remember these family holidays forever—especially how much fun it was to decorate.

My favorite ways to decorate are wrapping the staircase with green pine, placing glowing candles (in gold, silver, white, red and green) all around the house, and stringing the Christmas lights in

Holiday Décor and Christmas Cards Galore!

Holidays are just around the corner, and I’m sure you already have your gifts all lined up, wrapped, and ready to go (not to say that my gifts are quite ready; in fact, I’ll admit I’m still in the process of shopping). If not, (and even if so), it’s the perfect time to enjoy unique address labels, personalized stationery products, and other seasonal décor.

Whether you’re writing holiday notes on your own personalized cards or giving the gift of stationery, make sure to stock up on all of the festive items you’ll want and need: holiday cards, Christmas checks, personalized gifts… even the cute little red and green knit hats for wine bottles. A Little Preparation before the Holidays

Thanksgiving has always been one of my most favorite holidays. Not just because you get to gorge yourself with perfectly cooked turkey, sweet potato puree, apple pie, and the rest of the seasonal epicurean treats. It’s because Thanksgiving is a time when the entire family, not just the immediate family, but the whole extended family (grandparents, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and the, heck, even the neighbors!) all come together to celebrate and be thankful. Thanksgiving is one of the best days of the entire year.

And with all of this celebration and yummy treats, it is best to stay in the best health. What I mean by this is to load up on Digestive Enzymes for the holidays! With all of the delectable goodies on the table and the excitement caused by seeing your loved
